About Us
HIS PROVIDENCE MINISTRIES UGANDA is a Ugandan registered non-profit
community based charity
organization that is currently operating in the rural communities of Naama in Mityana District.
Founded by Ssewanonda JohnPatrick, the ministry was born from his personal struggles and determination to create a brighter future for children facing poverty, abandonment, and lack of education.
Our community based program mainly aim at improving the well-being and
livelihood of vulnerable children especially orphans, street children and those abandoned by their guardians.

Ssewanonda J. Patrick
Kampala – Uganda
Raised by a single mother in Naama, Mityana District, JohnPatrick’s early life was marked by hardship. From selling pancakes as a child to working as a construction porter to fund his education, his journey was filled with resilience. Thanks to the kindness of a benefactor, he pursued secondary education and later graduated from Ndejje University with a degree in education.
While teaching, he encountered students facing even greater challenges—orphans, school dropouts, and children at risk of early marriage. Moved by their struggles, he began personally supporting a few children, laying the foundation for what would become HIS PROVIDENCE MINISTRIES UGANDA.
